OUR STORY:
Founded in 2017 on KZN’s beautiful North Coast, Bird & Co set out to redefine fast-casual dining by offering a relaxed, fast-casual restaurant with both sit-down and takeaway options, where food is served quickly, but never rushed or compromised in quality. The Goal was simple: to serve exceptional Flame Grilled, Deboned Chicken as well as delicious Wood-Fired Pizzas, crafted with premium, fresh ingredients, all under one roof!
With a focus on value for money and uncompromising freshness and flavour, we quickly earned a loyal following among discerning customers who appreciate quality dining. In 2025, we joined forces with South Africa’s fastest-growing Flame Grilled Chicken franchise – Pedros – leveraging their significant food service and franchising expertise, as well as a nationwide distribution network.
The Aim: to accelerate growth and reach a broader, more upscale market while continuing to uphold the standards that set us apart and serving up the flavour-packed favourites our customers know and love!
